I am a graduate
of Political Science/International Relations from the Nigerian Defence Academy
(Armed Forces University) and was commissioned as a Regular Combatant Infantry
Officer into the rank of Second Lieutenant in the Nigerian Army. I served the
Nigerian Army meriteously for about 18 years and attended numerous
military security and administrative related courses with high grades.I served as
Security/Administrative personnel to the Nigerian Presidency providing General
Security and Administrative/Human Resources to the President, members of his
family and senior government officials in the country. I also served the UN in
UNAMSIL as Security Administration Officer and Company Second in Command of the
Nigerian troops in the mission in charge of UN Logistic Base.
I joined and
serving at the United Nations Security and Safety Service, New York. I provide general security and protection of the United Nations property, Staff, visitors on the UN premises, Delegates and any dignitary. At the UN Headquarters, I had the privileged of providing close
protection to VIPs during international events both in New York and other parts
of the world. In addition, I gained field experience serving at the United
Nations Mission in Chad as a Senior Security Officer covering the entire
country providing field security to UN Staff and UN property in MINURCAT.
Senior Security Officer - 06/2010 to 08/2013

At the United Nations and as a Senior Security officer, I provides general security to Staff, VIP, delegates and visitors. Screened Staff, visitors and delegates before granting access to restricted areas of the United Nations. I also operates and maintain the security control center, monitor and maintain security reports from around the world.
Senior Field Security Officer - 06/2008 to 06/2010
United Nations (MINURCAT) – Chad.
As Senior Security Officer, my functions includes, detailing of duties,
investigation, patrols, escorts and general UN Staff safety in the mission both
in the offices and in the respective apartments. Provide support to other UN
Humanitarian Agencies in the mission as required. Liaise with humanitarian
Agencies on the collection and dissemination of information to locate areas of
humanitarian needs and track information required for early warning of
potential conflict and crisis threat. Conducted series of security analysis to
identify potential problems related to physical security, staff safety and
asset protection. Supervised other security personnel under command during a in
the mission. Advised and conducted investigations of significant threats and
the loss or misappropriation of assets.United Nations (MINURCAT) – Chad.

On returned from the field mission duty, I continue carrying out all my primary functions as a Senior Security Officer. Provision of general security to Staff, VIP, delegates and visitors. Military Company Second in Command - 01/2004 to 08/2004
Nigerian Army (UNAMSIL) – Sierra Leone
My basic duties was supervising, coordinating, detailing and administering
troops, and local security staff on patrols, escort duties, body guard to
important personnel,perimeter defense of UN installation. I was also in charge
of the operational training of troops under command on internal security
duties, convoy drills and aerial patrols, evacuation drills, communication
procedures and other related security duties. Administratively, I deputized for
the Company Commander, assisted him in his daily command and advices on
security matters. Drafted security operating procedures and conducts training

for the unit. Advised security team and conducted investigations of significant
